Setting

The setting takes place in New Zebedee, Michigan.  There mostly in Uncle Johnathan's house listening for the tiking and toking.  Or if not it would take place in the cemetary when lewis and Tarby are looking for there clues.  Also in The mansion of his uncle is long creepy hallways, old scary rooms and also secret passage ways throughout the house it is very cool.  The book takes place in the 1940's.  So there is not much to do for lewis so he explores the house since it's very old and gigantic.  The house is filled with books so lewis reads books and figures out clues to lead him to the importance of the book.
